Job Description
To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develops basic knowledge of industry technologies / competition, concepts, and trends.
The role requires broad experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Experience Cloud technologies. Assisting with planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems / applications, analyzing small and large data for improving reports, cloud adoption and modeling to find rapid product insights and business solutions.
Development of modules, components for employees / members to improve UI for multi device, multi-platform mobile and desktop web applications.
Provide support and services for the organization's network systems, applications, and data migration / integration solutions for end user requirements and needs for the AEM as a Cloud Services with a focus on front-end technologies.
Responsibilities
- Integrate digital data to develop, configure, model, and document next generation software applications
- Apply engineering principles to the design and enhancement of systems
- Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
- Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions
- Develop and conduct code reviews with peers to ensure each increment adheres to original version as designed for the user or Process Definition Document to ensure highest quality standards.
- Participate in daily scrums to advance automation, and communicate innovation progress and / or obstacles
- Assist with new software application development to automate and orchestrate across different platforms, continuous integration servers, and tools in support of business needs
- Perform research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems
- Present clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions
- Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration
- Develop / recommend changes to improve usability of digital content, functionality, interactivity, and usability of site(s) to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience on web development utilizing CSS, SaSS, JQuery, React, NPM, Node.js and JavaScript front end technologies.
- 2 years of experience with HTL combined to build complex components in AEM.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with developing advanced custom AEM templates and component using Java, Maven, HTL / Sightly.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with AEM 6.4 / 6.5 / AEM Cloud Services.
- 5+ years of experience working with JCR based WCM Technologies.
- 2+ years of System administration and system level knowledge to administer the AEMaaCS.
- Hands on experience with coding components using Sling Models, Sling filters, Sling API, OSGI API's DAM, Workflows.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
- Experience with products in the Adobe Suite such as Adobe's Analytics, Launch and Target
- Good understanding of any continuous integration tools like Azure ADO, Azure Pipeline, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub.
- Experience with SonarQube, Checkmarx, BlackDuck code quality tools.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Model View Controller paradigm.
- Well versed in AEM best practices, building out solutions that are maintainable and scalable.
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies of Software Development Life cycle.
- Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the following areas :
- Organizational, planning and time management
- Database and presentation software
- Experience in Data Management and Architecture, Performance Management, Information Delivery and Advanced Analytics
- Exercise initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
- Guide and train less experienced staff
- Manage complex full life-cycle IT projects or teams to include cost / resource / time estimation
- Advanced troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
- Significant experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
Desired Qualifications :
- Experience with Adobe Cloud service
- Knowledge on Adobe's Style Systema and Core components
- Experience with Sinequa search
- Experience / knowledge of AEM Forms and integrating with Adobe Sign
Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00AM - 4 : 30PM (expected team members will be on for releases on weekends, on-call sometimes, not frequently)
