SUMMARY : Management Business Solutions is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst for its client in Reno, NV . The person will be responsible for generating and evaluating financial data presented in financial statements and other reports to facilitate management decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Ensure all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and update financial reporting procedures and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the Energy or Utilities sector.
- Experience with SEC filing is required.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
