Hiring Range : $67,584-$90,108 annually

Help change the world and improve the lives of North Dakota citizens by partnering with our customers to meet business needs, to deliver transformational customer and state constituent experiences across Team ND.

North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a Business Analyst.

As a Business Analyst, you will :

  • Maintain and grow the relationship between NDIT and Agency customers.
  • Be a primary resource for your customers regarding enhancements and maintenance operations for their IT systems.
  • Represent the customer business needs when requesting IT work through a regular rhythm of business a
  • Be a trusted partner to our customers on new technology investment strategies and decisions.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of business analysis, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and project management techniques.

To thrive in this position, you must have strong research skills, knowledge of business work-flow processes, system integration and support.

You will be a leader who enjoys working with people in a collaborative environment, who can learn quickly in a rapidly changing technology landscape, and who embodies the core values that we follow as public servants for the State of ND : Gratitude, Humility, Curiosity, and Courage.

To be considered, you must have one of the following :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business administration, computer science or closely related field and two year’s of professional-level work as a business analyst or similar role
  • Associate degree in a business administration, computer science or closely related field and 4 years of professional-level work as a business analyst or similar role

Professional experience meeting the above qualifications can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
