Position at SBM Management SBM Management is searching for a Floor Technician that can make the floors sparkle and shine! We are hiring a Floor Technician that has experience ensuring customers have clean and orderly commercial or office space.
Professional communication with the customers to make sure their expectations are met is essential.
Responsibilities
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures. Stop at risk behaviors in others and self
- Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Maintain clean work area
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
- Fill in during staff shortages, such as in custodial, recycle, or maintenance
- Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
- Use proper personal protective equipment that is required for assigned tasks
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand customer service and satisfaction.
- Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
- Operate motorized cleaning equipment
- Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors : tile, carpet , and brick flooring
- Complete work assignments in a timely manner
- Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Use and maintain equipment properly
- Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
- Always observe safety precautions, using safety signs wet floor
- Ability to work without normal supervision
- Report safety hazards as appropriate
Qualifications
- Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor / carpet care expertise preferred
- Background checks, along with Pre employment Drug screening & E-Verify.
- Floor Care experience and using machinery Drivers License Required,
- General Knowledge of Care Floor and Scrubbing Techniques
- Minimum 6 months of custodial experience and jobs in warehouse environments
Shift :
Sun - Wed 6 : 00AM - 4 : 30PMSun - Wed 6 : 00PM - 4 : 30 AMWed - Sat 6 : 00AM - 4 : 30PMWed - Sat 6 : 00PM - 4 : 30 AM Compensation : $16.00 - $16.80 per hour
