April ABA is seeking a compassionate and results-driven Admissions Coordinator to guide families through our ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) admissions process.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for new clients while supporting the operational and clinical goals of our organization.
The Admissions Coordinator will be instrumental in helping families access our high-quality ABA services, providing a welcoming and empathetic entry point for new clients.
This role involves coordinating key aspects of client intake, from insurance verification to scheduling, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in our admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide prospective clients smoothly from initial inquiry through to admission
- Verify and interpret client insurance benefits, conducting both online and verbal verification as needed
- Explain insurance benefits to clients and families in an accessible and clear manner
- Coordinate and manage necessary documentation, including obtaining signatures and authorizations
- Assist in scheduling and completing screening assessments, relaying findings to supervisors for eligibility determination
- Offer compassionate, solution-focused support to families during times of need
- Proactively review current client files to identify potential outreach and admissions opportunities
- Schedule and organize admissions and intake assessments for new clients
- Exemplify and champion April ABA's cultural values, promoting healthy working relationships and strengthening team coordination to achieve the company's objectives and goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success and growth of April ABA's operations
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in behavioral health admissions, ideally with ABA
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and team members
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute growth plans in a competitive market
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by autism and other developmental disabilities
