FinancialOversight :
- Demonstrate a thoroughunderstanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practicesand ensure high quality accounting services and reporting are beingprovided to ourclients.
- Maintain optimal profit marginsfor any assigned clients and theteam.
- Perform quality control reviewsof client financialstatements.
- Collaborate with the SeniorAccountant team members and be a highlevel resource for anyaccounting and operational questions they mayhave.
Leadership andTeamManagement :
- Train and mentorassigned team members in accordance with BooksTime s standardprocesses.
- Provide ongoing coaching toensure clients are receiving the highest quality work andservice.
- Oversee team member performanceand lead annual performancereviews.
- Assign new client work to theSenior Accountant team members to help increase productivity andfoster an environment of employeegrowth.
- Transfer client work to newSenior Accountants efficiently andeffectively.
- Provide or assign team coverageduring vacation or sick leaveabsences.
- Lead a team in deliveringtopnotch bookkeeping services to ourclients.
- Build strong relationships withthe teammembers.

- Work on identifying internaltalent and promote their growth by helping develop their skills andabilities.

ClientSatisfaction andSuccess
- Build a relationshipwith clients by gaining an indepth understanding of their businessneeds and objectives. Once established proactively provideefficient solutions and recommend additionalservices.
- Serve as a resource to allassigned team members for guidance on client tasks and be willingto step in to help resolve client issues and / or urgentneeds.
- Oversee a portfolio of clientsensuring books are complete and accurate and deadlines aremet.
- Effectively manage communicationbetween team members andclients.
ProcessImprovement :
- Assume ownership andresponsibility of assigned tasks from start to finish including butnot limited to client work andcommunication.
- Identify areas of improvementwithin BooksTime s processes and create a strategy for implementingchanges.

Experience :
- 5 years of managementexperience
- An ideal candidate has handledthe accounting for multiple companies at one time while alsomanaging a team of 5individuals.
- Proven track record ofsuccessfully managing ateam.
- Example titles for individualswho would be successful in this role may include : ControllerFinance Manager Director of Accounting VP of Finance CFO Team LeadSupervisoretc.
- Experience working with multipleclients at the same time preferably small to midsizebusinesses.
- 5 years of experience usingQuickBooks and / or similar cloudbased accountingsoftware.
Benefits
- FullTime / PartTime : Fulltime preferred. For parttime 30 hours per week is stillrequired.
- Salary Range : Negotiable. TheStarting wage is typically between $3845 per hour depending oneducation andexperience.
