This team collaborates well and is proficient in delivering care in a timely manner. The observation operates as an extension of the emergency department caring for patients who are hospitalized for less than 48 hours.

Being a part of this dynamic team allows you to strengthen your critical thinking skills and provide excellent patient care.

Some examples of the patient populations treated on the Observation unit include cellulitis, CHF, asthma, kidney stones, and TIA.
