Experienced Warehouse Manager wanted for First Class Buckhead Firm

Currently, we’re seeking a warehouse manager to join our team and manage operations of the warehouse. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of 100s of events every year.
Basic requirements for the positions include following direction from management to perform duties as assigned and requested in accordance with the company standards in order to provide guests with flawless events as contracted with the clients.
Qualified candidates must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation, a great work ethic, professional appearance, and sunny attitude.
Objectives of this Role
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
- Pack for each event that day and week
- Pick up, receive, and return rental items from vendor partners for associated events
- Order and / or go shopping for needed inventory items
- Upkeep for fleet of vans used for events, including cleanliness, keeping up maintenance, and at times picking up rental trucks and vans
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff
- Personable, diplomatic, self-starter
- Possess the ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Eye for detail
- Dedicated, trustworthy, reliable
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Experience in catering or banquet service including FOH and BOH
- 3+ years experience in a warehouse lead role
