Title : Material Handler / Utility / Clean Up
Job Purpose :
Provide a clean working environment to ensure production of safe quality food.
Essential Duties :
- Perform cleaning / sanitation, product packaging, labeling, warehousing etc. duties as assigned
- Perform the Daily Cleaning Schedule, Daily Facilities Evaluation and Weekly Cleaning Schedule and complete paperwork.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, safety policies, and procedures
- Perform product packaging operations in accordance with SOP
- Operate forklift and complete paperwork for the following : tote production, organic sugar production, occasional deliveries and shipments
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Assist maintenance personnel as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Understand verbal and written communication
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Previous forklift experience
- Cleaning experience
- Experience in Industrial Food Processing Desired
- Must have steel-toed boots
