OLD REPUBLIC TITLE TECH COMPANIES
As Product Owner your primary goal is to represent the customer to the development team, including managing and making visible the product backlog, prioritized list of requirements for future product development, and ensuring Agile Scrum processes are being followed and utilized.
T his position requires in-office attendance in one of five locations in the United States, two days per week (Minnetonka, MN;
Akron, OH; Tampa, FL; Plano, TX; Concord, NH). Remote candidates are not being considered.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
The Product Owner is expected to :
Execute the product strategy, focusing on delivery of product roadmap features and tactical items within an agile development process.
Clearly express the product backlog items.
Order / Prioritize backlog items to best achieve product goals.
Optimize the value of work across the development and UI / UX teams.
Ensure product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all.
Show Scrum team(s) what to work on next.
Be available to the development team to answer questions regarding the customer’s view of how they are implementing product features.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Minimum of 3 years in title / settlement or related fields or 3 years’ experience in settlement software industry
Demonstrated success defining or launching excellent products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Previous management or leadership role
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
