Orthopedic Associates of Cape Coral is looking for an experienced but flexible MA for a very busy orthopedic practice. BMO certification a plus.
AllMeds system knowledge preferred but will train. Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature;
and reporting patient history summary. Other duties include, but are not limited to :
Explaining treatment procedures to patients
Assisting the physician during exams
Removing sutures and changing dressings
