What We Offer :

• Salary : $85,000 to $100,000 + Monthly & Quarterly Incentives
• Full Time : 40 hrs. / 5-day work week (Weekdays 9-5 or 11-7 & every other Saturday)

Responsibilities :

• Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s flooring needs
• Build client relationships and follow up is completed on all jobs
• Occasionally set up appointments to visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product / design advice
• Keep up to date on the wide selection of products and services available
• Be point of contact for customer to provide following : flooring sample suggestions, review area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, and create estimates / proposals
• Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and sampling requirements
• Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ proven work experience in Flooring Sales, Customer Service, Interior Design, Construction, or similar role
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks & Microsoft Outlook
• Proper phone etiquette a must
• Basic computer / social media and math skills a must
• A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
• Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Advanced time management skills
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong personal and professional judgment
• Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
• Knowledge of the flooring industry a plus (Willing to train)
