WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Financial Executive is responsible for assisting Financial Advisors by administering all aspects of clients’ accounts.
This includes a full line of investment products, including mutual funds, managed accounts, equities, and fixed income securities.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Duties :
- Assist Busey Wealth Management in meeting the goals and objectives of the organization utilizing the Wealth Advisory program.
- Assist the Financial Advisors and clients with a full line of investment products, including mutual funds, managed accounts, equities, and fixed income securities.
- Prepare letters, forms, and reviews to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting for new clients.
- Respond to client correspondence and interact daily, by phone or in person, with prospective and existing clients.
- Handle financial operational issues that might occur with statements and transactions.
- Process incoming correspondence, checks, mail, and email.
- Review daily reports from Raymond James Financial Services and take necessary actions.
- Forward all account information to home office for approval and scanning.
- Prepare advisor with necessary paperwork prior to client appointments.
- Maintain Client Relationship Management (CRM).
- Assist with regional activities when requested.
- Follow industry, Raymond James Financial Services, First Busey Corporation, and Busey Trust Company policy, regulations, and procedures.
Knowledge of :
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong sales and client service skills
- Wealth Management Services including Investments, banking, and trust concepts including asset allocation and basic trust and estate procedures.
- Financial Planning and Fiduciary issues.
Ability to :
- Make independent decisions
- Analyze and interpret numerical data
- Analyze and solve problems that frequently involve decisions based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced technical concepts is predominantly required.
- Analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Requires Bachelor’s degree or related experience in the investment field.
- Required to obtain Series 7 & 66 license within first 6 months of employment.
- Required to obtain License for Life and Health within 12 months of employment.
- Computer skills adequate for working with investment software.
- Must be in good standing with Regulatory and Firm Element continuing education, as well as with First Busey Corporation continuing education.
- Ongoing development and broadening of appropriate knowledge and skills.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
