Bar Server

United Concessions Group, Inc. (UCG) is now hiring Bar Servers to join their concessions operation at the Akron-Canton Airport.
As a Bar Server, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guest's experience by serving delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Daily cleaning duties as required by management
- Completion of all sidework before, during, and after the shift
- Presenting menus and assisting customers in selecting food and beverages
- Preparing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks following standard recipes
- Practicing responsible alcohol service, including carding guests and monitoring alcohol consumption
- Taking orders, serving customers, and making product recommendations
- Remaining attentive to all guest's needs
Requirements :
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Comprehensive knowledge of common cocktails and beer styles
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, management, and guests
- Familiarity with all food and beverage items offered
- Proficiency in navigating the restaurant's point of sale system
- Punctuality and a positive attitude
- Correct financial reporting and cash handling
- Adherence to all policies and procedures
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Food safety, and alcohol training preferred
We operate 365 days a year with shifts starting as early as 3 a.m. and ending when the last plane departs (usually around 9 p.
m.). This position offers 20-40 hours per week with opportunities for growth and benefits for full-time team members.
