For the Business Resins and Modifiers , Rain Carbon Germany GmbH is currently looking for a Sales Manager within CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers) industries with strong focus on coatings.
Primary task of the incoming Sales Manager will be to develop the business with existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Expansion of the Resins and Modifiers business to develop CASE customers globally
- Key account management of global and medium-sized companies
- Develop the sales operating plan for the region through business maintenance and growth with existing accounts and development of new customers
- Identify and define new market opportunities
- Optimize gross margin / sales volume strategically
- Develop and participate in implementing a reliable supply strategy including warehousing
- Participate in the development of the marketing strategy for the region, especially through market analysis of customers, competitors, new technologies and market trends
- Attend trade shows and relevant conferences
- Maintain and improve strong relationships with existing and new business partners
Professional Experience / Qualification :
- Graduated in the field of economics, marketing or chemistry / chemical engineering
- Experience in a B2B business environment working for a supplier or producer within the CASE industry, preferably processing resins, polymers, waxes or similar chemicals, existing network within the CASE industry
- Key account management : Skilled at developing high customer relationships
- Technical background of chemistry or in manufacturing consumer goods
- Advantageous English (Level C2), second language as a plus
- Confident and articulate presenter to communicate technical and commercial information
- A high level of organization to balance multiple activities (sales calls, visits, reporting, forecasting, etc.)
- Pragmatic with good strategic thinking
- High degree of self-motivation
- Ability to travel up to 40%
