Job Description :
As an SAP BRIM Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and transforming legacy system data to be loaded into SAP BRIM components.
You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure data integrity, perform high-volume data reconciliation, and ensure successful data migration for SAP S / 4HANA hosted in the Azure cloud environment.
You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of data migration processes and cross-referencing tables. This role requires an expert in data migration, with a deep understanding of SAP S / 4HANA, SAP BRIM, and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Understand source data and query legacy data using SQL and PL-SQL skills.
Merge data from multiple sources and load it into target systems.
Collaborate with the Microsoft Dynamics Specialist to develop the data dictionary for target systems.
Transform and load data from legacy systems into SAP BRIM across components like SAP S / 4HANA, Convergent Mediation, and Convergent Charging.
Perform source-to-target mapping and extract structured and unstructured data from legacy sources.
Develop and maintain business rules and cross-referencing tables.
Use ETL tools such as SAP BODS, ADMM, and MS SQL-S to transform data.
Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Implement data masking or hashing to ensure no PII data in lower environments.
Oversee schedule progress and milestones during data migration.
Perform delta loads for high-volume transformed data into SAP BRIM.
Validate data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
Participate in data migration workshops and document migration processes and rules.
Create data migration runbooks for future reference.
Lead and collaborate with teams for system work efforts related to enterprise systems.
Ensure adherence to Client standards, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
5 years of experience as an SAP BRIM Data Specialist / Engineer / Analyst with 8+ years preferred.
Strong SQL and PL-SQL skills.
Experience with BODS for data transformation and loading into SAP.
2+ full-cycle SAP S / 4HANA implementations, with experience migrating high volumes of data (15+ million customer records, 1+ billion transactions).
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics integrated with SAP S / 4HANA.
Tolling experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
Strong data mapping and reconciliation skills.
Experience in migrating closed transactions in SAP S / 4HANA is highly desired.
ITIL / ITSM practices are a plus.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
