Gpac has partnered with a mechanical contractor looking to add a Process Piping Drafter to their team. They are looking for some that will support the permit, construction, and fabrication drawing development for piping systems.
Process Piping Drafter Responsibilities :
- Provide drafting and design services by preparing, coordinating, maintaining engineering, fabrication, and construction drawings for mechanical piping systems.
- Produce mechanical piping drawings for the purpose of permitting, fabrication, and constructability to support manufacturing and facilities.
- Responsible for creating detailed pipe process routing models, spool drawings and bill of materials for process or mechanical piping systems.
- Provide creative ideas regarding pre-construction, off-site fabrication, and pipe routing.
Process Piping Drafter Qualifications :
- Basic understanding of detailing and / or coordination experience in mechanical piping design and / or pipe fitting / fabrication
- Field drafting, mechanical, or operational experience in a refinery or other industrial setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficient with Revit, preference for experience with SysQue for Revit, and Autodesk platforms.
