The Harris For President campaign is looking for a talented and exceptionally organized creative to join the vice president's video team, with a focus on overseeing daily production on the road.
The person in this role will be responsible for managing video production and ensuring that the traveling videographers are set up for success.
This candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively guide a video crew amid constantly changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Track all movements and events on the road and effectively communicate with stakeholders and crew
- Coordinate logistics to ensure that crews are where they need to be, when they need to be there
- Help establish deliverables from each stop, rally, and shoot and communicate with editors and the social team to ensure that videos from the road are published as quickly as possible
- Help the road team ingest, upload, and distribute footage from shoots and events
- Interface with other teams on the ground so everyone's clear on what's expected
- Help guide videos through post-production and the approvals process so editors know where to find road footage and expectations for deliverables are met
- Work with freelancers and external vendors to communicate logistics and deliverables of video shoots
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on production experience in film, TV, and / or digital video production
- Proven skill at planning and executing shoots
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong production management background
- Ability to handle multiple projects under changing deadlines
- Familiarity with project management and coordinating video crews
- Experience filming and editing videos
- A passion for politics and enthusiasm about working to elect Kamala Harris
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
