Job Description :
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Latin Teacher who can teach any level of Latin, from beginner to advanced.
The ideal candidate will inspire students with a love for the Latin language and classical studies, while also fostering a deep appreciation for the Catholic faith and tradition.
In addition, we are seeking a part time Italian Teacher.
Responsibilities :
- Teach Latin or Italian at various levels, adapting instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
- Implement engaging and effective lesson plans that are already developed.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in Daily Mass, school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the classical curriculum.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Classics, Humanities, or a related field.
- Teaching experience.
- Candidates must be practicing Catholics and willing to take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
- Desire to have students complete the National Latin Exam.
