Role Summary :
The Material Handler will help to maintain warehouse stock and assist in fulfilling orders. The incumbent will also be responsible for loading and unloading product from and to our Production department daily.
Must be able to think fast and react accordingly throughout the day so that the workflow of the shipping department is not interrupted, delayed, or stopped.
Move products constantly and must be very attention to detail oriented. Responsible for the controlling the material related to the work orders provided to them and to maintain an accurate inventory, in addition will be required to work overtime, weekends and holidays in order to meet the needs of the company.
Will perform raw material inventories for the department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prior inventory experience
- Experience operating a forklift
- Excellent hand and eye coordination
- Excellent dexterity to handle product boxes, bins, and other product receptacles with product as this role constantly and repetitively moves product throughout the workday
- Must be able to perform basic accounting measures, addition, subtraction, multiplication, etc.
- All other duties as assigned

- Attend inventory system training sessions as needed
- Excellent Microsoft office and computer skills
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must successful complete a comprehensive background screening
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 100 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated / standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands / fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently / constantly to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with / without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts / details.
Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night / dark conditions
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
WORK SCHEDULE :
40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
