Electronics Technician Maintenance I

Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Applies basic technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturer manuals or similar documents
• Utilizes familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, selecting tools, testing instruments, and complying with accepted practices
• Works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician

Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

• Start with a Secret clearance or be able to acquire one 90 days after award
• Basic-advanced technical problem solving / decision making skills
• Basic-advanced knowledge of circuity
• Be able to follow detailed work procedures
• Ability to work with direct supervision
• Ability to receive technical guidance
• Ability to build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
