The Facility Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of plant personnel and operations.

- Oversees multiple site-specific plant operations, including, but not limited to, drum processing, roll-off processing, and heavy equipment such as excavators in our mix building process building for making batch feeds for all 3 incinerators,
- Oversees vacuum / tanker truck and railcar offloading / loading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements for our tank farm tanks.
- Scanning applications for waste tracking for daily activities and EOM inventory
- Supervises multiple Plant / Employees for daily plant operations and other areas of the facility on nights and weekends to include Tank Farm unloading and Wastewater treatment / Filter press operations
- Ensures that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures & Monthly training modules and holds employees accountable.
- Must be able to write work permits such as Hot work, Line break and Confined Space Entry
- Ensures that supervised operations / employees understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards.
- Perform daily compliance inspections of areas throughout the facility and document and correct as needed.
- Works under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager or equivalent.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years supervision experience
- DOT training
- Forklift training / experience
- Ability to work in team environment
- Proficiency in Windows based applications
- Ability to work a rotating shift (nights and days)
- Organizational and leadership skills
