Description :
Utilizing a strong telemetry background, this nursing position provides hands-on patient care in an ambulatory environment performing cardiac device interrogations.
This challenging role is ideal for a tech-savvy nurse who will perform pacemaker / defibrillator analysis and, in collaboration with physician partners, program devices to correct values and optimal settings.
Excellent communication skills are a plus as the ideal candidate will provide patient education and help teach cardiology fellows, MRI associates and anesthesia staff about the nuances of cardiac devices.

We seek colleagues with :
- Minimum required : Associates degree in nursing; Preferred : Bachelor's degree
- Required :
- 2-3 years Telemetry Experience
- Knowledge of 12-lead EKG
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification
- Preferred :
- Cardiac device interrogation / programming experience
