I just partnered with a growing company looking for their next Manufacturing Project Manager to lead projects within their machine shop environment.
This role is ideal for a professional with extensive machining experience and demonstrated project leadership.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years' experience in welding, machining and / or millwright environment
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Business
- Skilled in estimating, purchasing, and project management software
- Proficient in blueprint reading and geometric tolerance standards
- Strong communication and negotiation skills - customer interfacing and vendor communication as needed
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Partner with clients to define project scope, requirements, and timelines
- Create detailed project schedules and manage all stages of project execution
- Develop and review proposals, estimates, and contracts for accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with team members and across departments to troubleshoot and solve project challenges
- Review job estimates, determine methods, and negotiate project timelines and costs
