Job Description
The Strategic Financial Analyst will coordinate all accounting functions for multiple small businesses. This position will enter and classify all financial transactions in QuickBooks weekly.
Ensure financial records are accurate and complete. Keep software updated and maintain online files while utilizing various applications and systems.
The right candidate will be motivated, positive, detail oriented and a self-starter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting Tasks :
Coordinating daily, weekly and or monthly bookkeeping needs for multiple companies under mutual owner.
Set up recurring charges to post automatically, such as recurring membership fees according to membership level.
Reconcile monthly bank statement with what is in QuickBooks.
Review account and discrepancies weekly with Business Financial Analyst.
Process accounts payable through appropriate channels and record timely in QuickBooks.
Ensure timely receipt of AR; follow up as needed with payees and resolve discrepancies in charges.
Review monthly credit card statements. Ensure receipts are obtained for all expenses and get confirmation to pay full balance each month.
Maintain proper expense coding.
Set up and maintain vendor information.
Run specified reports weekly and monthly : P&L, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet.
Set up accounts in states where there are taxable products, such as for recruiting searches.
Proactively coordinating and filing annual insurance renewals for Protective Planning Solutions.
Coordinate accounting functions for PPS, JDS, JELD and Million Dollar Solution
Comply with federal, state and company policies and procedures.
Perform member customer service related to payment of membership fees, conference registrations and products.
Follow up with members to obtain expired credit card information.
Cancel or set up payments when members join or cancel.
Liaise with Infusionsoft consultant to ensure products are set up correctly.
Process bi-weekly payroll and retirement contributions.
Financial Consulting :
Assist Business Financial Analyst with financial consulting needs and reports such as follows :
Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement robust financial systems and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Engage in budget preparation and financial forecasting, offering insights that guide decision-making processes.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience needed with at least two years of bookkeeping or related experience
- Associates degree in accounting preferred
Proficient in general accounting knowledge
Excellent organizational skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Sound verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn, understand and fully utilize various technology for efficiency and productivity
Compensation :
$21-25 per hour based on experience
