The Digital Systems Engineering position is a visible role responsible for working with marketing and other functional groups to help define Digital instrumentation products that best address our customers’ needs.
In this role you will be a member of an interdisciplinary systems engineering team responsible for the development of next-generation instrumentation for current and future automated test equipment (ATE) systems.
Digital instrumentation covers a wide breadth of product needs ranging from lower speed functional / test pins to leading edge high speed serial interfaces for modern AI, High Performance Computing devices.
The ideal candidate will have a broad set of interests, experience, and skills.
Responsibilities
- Working with a cross-functional team to help define the architecture and requirements for new digital projects. Product definition will often involve making trade-offs between feasibility, extensibility, cost, risk, schedule, scope.
- Applying latest technologies to digital instrument solutions.
- Adapting to fast-paced environment where requirements frequently change.
- Working with the project team to resolve system level issues and ensuring that the end product continues to meet the end customers’ needs.
- Documenting detailed requirements and system architecture.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- 10 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years leading product definition in a system engineering or technical leadership role
- Strong Digital HW / SW system design and architecture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10-15% of the time.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry and test engineering is a plus.
- Experience with DFT is a plus.

BS (MS preferred)
