QA Analyst

Job Title : Oracle HCM QA Analyst

Location : Overland Park, KS 66211 (Hybrid)

Duration : 6 Months contract

Pay Range : $43 / hr - $48 / hour on W2 (DOE)

Must be willing to work onsite in Overland Park 3 days per week (Wednesday is mandatory in-office day)

Summary :

We’re looking for a QA Analyst with Oracle HCM or similar ERP system experience. We need your help to provide support for the QA & testing activities on this implementation.

You’ll partner with team members and the System Integrator (SI) who is helping the client migrate to HCM, to understand business requirements and provide support in test script development, execution, retesting the defects for assigned workstream.

As a QA Analyst you will be responsible for implementing standard QA / testing practices and participating in all aspects of project testing on this implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop test scripts utilizing business requirements / functional documentation & design specifications.

Execute SIT test scripts, record actual results, document, and retest defects.

Assist in test defect management process, monitor, and report on defect resolution.

Review Test Scenario's and test scripts with QA Lead and business SME's and incorporate feedback.

Coordinate execution of SIT test scripts with Project Managers, QA Lead

Review test sequence, test data required for testing with Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs

Work with QA Lead to outline Test plan for each cycle

Create test data as needed for all testing cycles.

Participate in the test plan meeting and provide feedback.

Develop test scripts for UAT scenarios identified by Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs

Prepare regression test suite and perform regression testing prior to each Go-Live

Support end to end testing sessions.

Provide input for Go-NoGo decisions and participate in go-NoGo meeting.

Preferred Qualifications :

Minimum 6+ years of experience in testing and validating Oracle HCM Fusion Functionality

Oracle HCM Fusion functionality experience including Core HR, Benefits, LA, Payroll, Talent Management, Reports is required.

Familiarity with Oracle CEMLI / RICEW

Experience in developing test cases and test plans for Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Reports, and Talent Management is required.

Experience in Data Migration testing, Functional, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing & E2E testing.

Experience in executing test cases to verify the functionality of the software and identify defects.

Creating and maintaining test data to support testing activities.

Experience working with business and IT teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and test scripts.

Experience facilitating testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution and conducting defect triage meetings is required.

Excellent communication, attention to detail & documentation skills required.

Have hands on experience on writing manual tests, executing test runs, SIT & UAT test planning & execution.

Education :

Bachelor's degree. Technology or Computer Science degree preferred.
