Experience with Specialty Pharmacy Accreditations preferably URAC and ACHC

Preferred : Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy, Ambulatory Care, or Oncology

Preferred : Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP Certification)

Preferred Experience running multidisciplinary teams

Position Summary

The Supervisor Specialty Pharmacy is responsible for oversight and supervision of the daily operations of the Health System’s specialty pharmacy operations.

This position works under the direction of the Manager Specialty Pharmacies & Medication Assistance Program. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining efficient specialty pharmacy workflows, developing strong relationships with clinic staff, collaborating with manufacturers and payers to expand specialty pharmacy networks, maintaining accreditation standards, and developing clinical programs and operations that support all aspects of specialty pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an Accredited ASHP residency preferred
  • Washington State Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Specialty, Oncology, Neurology, or Rheumatology additional credentials preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years clinical or specialty pharmacy experience required
  • Minimum two (2) years of retail pharmacy practice experience preferred
  • Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.

The pay scale is $159,890.00 - $216,299.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education.

If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
