BI COORDINATOR
Job Category : Behavioral Interventionist (BI) Program
Job Status : Full-time
Reports to : BI Program Manager
Job Summary : The BI Coordinator provides supervision to frontline staff employed in the Behavioral Interventionist program.
Responsibilities :
Administrative Leadership & Management (with Program Manager)
- Employee satisfaction & strong sense of team within BI Team
- Provide BI Staff support & advocacy
- Attend job fairs; promote BI staff openings
- With the Hiring Coordinator, participate in the on-boarding process
- Working with BI & Training teams, provide training for BI Staff
- Facilitate All-BI Staff Meetings
- Conduct client / staff matchings with BI Team
- Complete Staff Profiles used for client / staff matching
- Conduct supervisory conferences to evaluate BIs’ work; alerting Program Manager of any issues
- Provide in-home supervision for BI Staff
- Track all missed Shift Notes to completion
- Facilitate family / staff meetings with Family Coordinators
- Attend team meetings of clients when requested
- Complete corrective actions / terminations with Program manager
- Update family / staff schedule in SAM database to reflect hours being utilized
- Update / track employee timecards
- Ensure all requirements of in-home visit processes are completed & followed
- Complete updates in database & client / staff files
- Provide support to BIs during OHI Investigations
- Actively participate with diverse team in serving clients
- Build relationships with partner agencies & community stakeholders
- Maintain strong, open communication with BI Team
- Work with branch office(s) to ensure program fidelity
- Maintain CPR / First Aid certification
- Attend required professional development trainings
Outcome Planning / PQI
- Complete agency reports & statistics
- Set procedures to track / report program outcomes & quality assurance
- Keep resource provider files in compliance
- Complete Critical Incident Reports & reviews with Program Manager
- Complete Incident Report Reviews with Family Coordinators
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- MA / MS (or BA / BS + 2 years working in non-profit social service agency) in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field
- Experience working with at-risk populations required
- Familiarity with the child welfare system
- Resourcefulness in setting priorities, creating efficiencies, guiding investment in people & systems
- Understanding of program development, implementation & evaluation
- Outstanding organizational & planning skills
- Commitment to the principles of support & advocacy for foster / adoptive families
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Leadership ability, team management, interpersonal skills; quickly establish rapport & build trust
- Advocate for positive outcomes within multi-disciplinary, diverse, dynamic professional teams
- Flexible, self-starter; multi-tasker, detail-oriented, can meet deadlines
- Model ethical & professional behavior
- Experience working with marginalized communities + nuanced understanding of systemic oppressions
- Able to shift styles to fit the needs of a wide range of cultures, people, organizations
