Location : Remote - We’re hiring in New York and Texas.

• Work Hours : As Product Owner this role will work with teams of offshore developers and will participate in Sprint Planning and Sprint Refinement meetings that often start at 9PM Eastern at night (9AM their time).

There could be up to 3 calls like this per week (at least 2)

What will you do?

This individual will work closely with the development teams , scrum masters and internal stakeholders . The Product Owner will be responsible for gathering requirements and working to design new features and products .

They will prioritize items within the backlog, sprints, and releases and participate in refinement, planning and review meetings with the Development teams.

This role combines Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Designer.

• Promote an atmosphere that encourages collaboration, optimism and dedication
• Conduct requirements gathering
• Rapid prototyping of design solutions for our current and future product line ( web, and mobile applications)
• Write and maintain specifications for developer consumption
• Lead the effort of story decomposition and prioritization
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint retrospective meetings
• Present work in a group setting
• Drive the pace of development projects

Must have experience.

• 3+ years of product experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Jira
• Detail oriented, highly motivated and self-directed
• Ability to present complex designs across technical and non-technical teams
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Responsive to feedback
• Experience working directly with Development teams
• Experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst
• Experience in Product development, Requirements gathering, writing user stories, backlog management and prioritization and release management

Nice to have experience

• Public / municipality or public safety / law enforcement industry experience as a product owner, manager, or business analyst
• UI / UX Design Principals for Mobile and Browser Applications

Salary $80,000 to $130,000

Salary is established based on various factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history / job related knowledge, education and training, skills, and geographic location.

These factors are taken into consideration during the employment offer process.
