Position Title : OT Manufacturing Systems Engineer
Location : 100% Remote (Must be based near an airport for travel to various mill facilities throughout the US. Most facilities are in the Mid-West and Texas regions, though the team is primarily based in Oregon.)
Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled OT Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting and enhancing the manufacturing systems environment across the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in OT system patching, security, and automation, with hands-on experience in key technologies such as Rockwell, InTouch, and Wonderware.
Key Responsibilities :
- System Maintenance : Oversee the patching process for OT systems, including pushing out patches, creating test environments, and standardizing patch rollout procedures.
- Security Management : Ensure the security of OT systems, utilizing Nozomi for monitoring and addressing security alerts.
- Automation Support : Work with Rockwell automation systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Server Upgrades : Lead projects to upgrade servers from Windows 2012 to Windows 2019+ for manufacturing systems.
- Testing and Verification : Develop and maintain testing environments for manufacturing applications before deploying updates.
- Travel : Occasionally travel to various mill facilities across the US for project-related activities.
Required Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in OT system patching, including creating test environments and rolling out patches.
- Proven expertise in OT system security, with experience using Nozomi or similar tools for monitoring traffic and security alerts.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell automation systems, InTouch, and Wonderware.
- Experience with Aveva is a plus.
Preferred Experience :
In-depth knowledge of Rockwell, Wonderware, Aveva, and InTouch systems.
