Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable
Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, GA and FL.
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for our Chicago office. Full time 8 : 00AM to 5 : 00PM. In-office.

What You'll Do : :
- Review vendor bills for accuracy, enter them in the accounting system, and process payments in a timely manner
- Review vendor statements, investigate and resolve any discrepancies
- Reconcile credit card transactions daily high volume
- Perform monthly bank account reconciliations high volume
- Review and approve positive pay exceptions
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain vendor files
- Act as backup for biweekly payroll processing including timecard management
- Complete ad-hoc analysis requests quickly while maintaining integrity and accuracy of data
What You Need : :
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks
- Ability to communicate with vendors and colleagues effectively
- Attention to detail
- Confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Highly skilled in using Excel; vlook-up, sumif and pivot functions
- Preferred : Minimum one to three years of experience in Accounting
- Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree or higher
