Client : Milwaukee-based manufacturer.
We’re on the lookout for a Systems Administrator to join our client's vibrant, expanding, and FUN! team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain the reliability and scalability of our core infrastructure.
- Oversee servers, networks, databases, and other critical systems, ensuring availability and efficiency.
- Provide general support of Windows servers, SAN Storage, virtual server infrastructure, Firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Research and recommend hardware and software solutions and provide input on future design.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for end-users.
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.
Key Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in systems & network administration.
- Deep and hands-on experience with VMWare, networking, Exchange & Office365, Windows and Linux servers, and cloud-hosted systems (Azure, AWS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills you’re supportive and engaged teammate.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP / IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
