The Department of Health, Behavioral Health, is recruiting for a Training Specialist 2 position in our Anchorage Regional Office.

What you will be doing :

In this role, you will develop comprehensive training and support programs for Alaska's Automated Information Management System (AKAIMS).

You will develop curricula specific to the needs of the treatment agency, working closely with diagnostic teams and therapeutic courts and creating or modifying educational materials.

The Training Specialist 2 works directly with various state and federal stakeholders to ensure reporting obligations are met, and data sets are compliant with relevant statutes and regulations.

Information Technology Program Management : Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for the coordinated management of an IT program to include providing oversight of multiple IT projects, integrating dependent schedules and deliverables, and related activities.

The State of Alaska uses four proficiency levels to measure and describe an applicant's level of competence in applying certain behaviors, knowledge, skills, and abilities to accomplish a specific task.
