Position Overview :
Our Client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing.
This role involves providing technical expertise, mentoring staff, managing complex projects, and preparing / reviewing technical reports and proposals.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct and oversee site investigations, soil sampling, and laboratory testing.
- Manage complex geotechnical and construction materials testing projects.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for both departments.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports and proposals.
- Perform and supervise construction materials testing.
- Maintain and develop client relationships.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., SLOPE / W, PLAXIS, LPILE).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
