Salary : $20-$24 / hr DOE
Impact Environmental is a Long Island / NJ based environmental firm with over 3 decades of success. We are looking for an Environmental Field Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience in the environmental field to join our team.
Position based from our Bohemia, Long Island NY office.
Job Requirements
- Experience performing field sampling (e.g., soil, soil vapor and groundwater)
- Air monitoring and oversight a plus
- Adaptability and willingness to adjust to client needs
- Travel to NYC and the 5 boroughs (company vehicle)
Candidate Qualifications :
- Relevant experience
- Team oriented, safety conscious, individual with good communication skills, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to exercise professional judgment, consistency and attention to detail
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around construction sites
- Able to pass a background, motor vehicle, and drug screen
Construction background a plus
OSHA 40 hour (HAZWOPER) and / or OSHA 10 / 30 hour (Construction Safety) certs a plus
