POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss’ Senior Business Strategy Specialist will be responsible for supporting business strategy initiatives under the direction of the Senior Business Strategy Manager.
Primary responsibilities include research and sourcing best practices, benchmarking, analysis, documentation, and preparing presentations and executive summaries to enable effective decision making.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Business Review process by facilitating the presentation, researching market data / information, and gathering content from teams.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop insights.
- Support yearly shared service support plan presentations.
- Develop Board / C-Suite level presentations to clearly communicate recommendations, insights, and analysis.
- Work closely with Business Strategy Manager to align on strategic recommendations and path to execution and projects critical to Moss’ success.
- Prepare business strategy materials for corporate presentations (internal and external).
- Regularly scheduled meetings with business leaders to support manager, as well as attending business unit and enterprise meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field.
- MBA Required plus direct marketing experience.
- Preferred 2-3 years of experience in business strategy development, marketing, communications or related fields.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to work in a highly confidential environment.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, flexible, able to multi-task, and an excellent team player.
- Possess a strong work ethic and exercise a high level of maturity with a positive attitude.
