Collins Aerospace, a business unit of RTX, is seeking a strong candidate to join the Acquisition Team as a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for all stages of purchasing and supplier management within the Engineered Items team (primarily subcontracts, major assemblies, and other developmental procurements) in support of programs in the Mission Systems product line.

What You Will Do :

Select qualified suppliers and identify alternate suppliers

Be the key contact point for your suppliers and coordinate with the internal product team

Manage the procurement process start to finish (RFQ, award, management, closure)

Ensure compliance of all purchasing documentation (compliant with internal policies, FAR, DFAR, public law, ITAR, etc)

Negotiate with suppliers (price, schedules and terms & conditions)

Work with suppliers to improve quality and delivery schedule

Qualifications You Must Have :

Minimum of 8+ years professional experience of purchasing and supplier management.

Must have experience and familiarity with / Compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR / DFAR), and ITAR and import / export requirements

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract

Qualifications We Prefer :

Familiarity with / Compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR / DFAR), and ITAR and import / export requirements

Ability to read and understanding drawings, and other technical documents

Experience leading formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience with the Raytheon purchasing system.

Remote :

Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
