This position is based in El Cajon, CA, but our company operates nationally, particularly in large regional malls.

As the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will develop and implement marketing programs for Parkway Plaza based on strategic goals.

The three main focus areas are Marketing for Leasing, Marketing for Sales, and Marketing for Business Development.

To succeed, you should have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in marketing fundamentals, research, reporting, and social media posting
  • Skilled in PC, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator / Photoshop)
  • Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to work varied schedules

Your responsibilities as the Marketing & Business Development Manager - Parkway Plaza will include :

  • Develop and Execute Strategies : Collaborate with the property team to create and implement marketing plans that enhance asset value, drive sales, and generate revenue.
  • Manage Budget and Goals : Oversee the marketing budget, track performance, and adjust strategies to meet annual revenue and sales targets.
  • Lead Marketing Efforts : Coordinate advertising, promotions, and special events to increase foot traffic and sales while maintaining effective public relations and community engagement.
  • Oversee Team Performance : Manage and develop the Marketing Coordinator, providing feedback and guidance to achieve goals and improve performance.
  • Enhance Digital Presence : Lead the development and optimization of the center's website and digital marketing efforts, including social media and e-newsletters, to effectively promote the center and its retailers.
