Occupational therapists assess and develop therapy plans to restore patients’ abilities to perform everyday tasks. Establishing measurable goals, OTs help patients develop skills needed for day-to-day activities, demonstrating specialized equipment, and educating families and caregivers.
From hospitals and outpatient clinics to therapy centers and home health settings, OTs excel in planning, organizing, communication, and showing patience and flexibility.

Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- A valid professional license as required
- Specialty-related certifications may be required for specific positions
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
