- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
- Verifies surgery benefits, obtains precertification for surgery services and counsels patients regarding the benefits obtained on these services.
- Assures proper forms for surgery services are filled out and faxed as required by specified insurance carriers for reimbursement.
- Answers patient phones and assist patients with inquiries regarding surgeries, authorizations, or appointments.
- Assist with office, procedure, vascular studies, or other ancillary test scheduling as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
