Job Title : Golang Developer
Company : to be released via phone call - Fortune 500 financial client
Location : HYBRID in Phoenix, AZ or NYC, NY - onsite 3x per week
Job Type : 9-12 month contract with potential to convert permanent
Pay Rate : $63 per hour set in stone
WORK AUTHORIZATION : must be able to work directly on W2 without the need for sponsorship - this role cannot support C2C and this client cannot sponsor visas directly
Must Haves :
- 4+ years of professional, backend software development experience with at least 1 year of recent Golang experience.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs from scratch with Golang.
- Experience working with Microservice Architecture & comfortability developing Microservices with Golang.
- Experience in application design, software development, and testing in an Agile environment.
- Experience working with tools such as Git / GitHub.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.
Pluses :
- Experience with containerization / orchestration responsibilities using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with CI / CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab CI.
- Experience working within Cloud environments is a huge plus.
- Any relevant certifications.
