$33.00to $35.00 / hour

1stShift 6 : 00am 2 : 30pm

Lead Marine has immediate openings for Electrician Leadman in theSan DiegoNaval ShipyardIndustry. Must have navy repair / marine electrical or prior military electrical experience.

Must be DBIDs Badge eligible to gain access to Naval Bases.

Responsibilities :

• Qualified individual must be able to read schematics andblueprints
• Accomplish ship alterations with minimalsupervision
• Troubleshoot and repair various electrical systems on Naval Ships
• Other required knowledge includes, but is not limited to, the ability to recognize electrical or electronic devices and circuitry used throughout the Maritime industry and knowledge of power distribution andequipment
• Must also be competent in generating IDRs (CFR)reports
• This individual will be responsible for supervising and managing a crew to accomplish electrical installs onboard ship, as well as the coordination between trades and providing accurate information in order to accomplish a variety oftasks

Requirements :

• Capable of running a2-3 mancrew with little supervision
• Familiar with NAVSEA STD Items 009-22, 009-23 and 009-73
• Accomplish electrical hook-up IAW disconnect sheets / drawings
• Ability to read isometric wiring, block and cable routingdrawings
• Accomplish lay-out of electricalequipment
• Able to fill outCFR
• Accomplish banding of cableways, packing MCTs and stuffing tubes.
• Familiar with WAF / Tag-out procedures
• Familiar with electrical test equipment
