The successful applicant will serve as a Deputy Program Manager on a large team responsible for the development of Department of Defense products.

Key Responsibilities : Demonstrates an understanding of a customer’s needs and issues Assembles and directs corporate resources toward execution of the contract Identifies, tracks, avoids, and mitigates risks Trades issues of scope, approach, cost, and schedule Delivers the contracted result Manages daily activities of an engineering support and logistics team Creates and maintains project schedule Required Qualifications : BS in technical engineering, science or business degree 3+ years of project management or technical leadership experience Demonstrated supervisory experience Proficiency in task management Ability to organize and manage a team Experience developing program schedules and controlling budgets to meet required deadlines Experience leading electronic development projects or other technical projects Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while making direct contributions to team success Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills Experience creating and maintaining a project schedule using tools such as Microsoft Project Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a US Government security clearance Must be willing and able to work on-site in North Logan, UT Office Preferred Qualifications : Ability and willingness to travel SDL supports a variety of missions, including NASA’s vision to reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind and the Department of Defense’s aim to protect our nation on the ground, in the air, and in space.
