Job Description
An employer is seeking an Information Security Risk Analyst in the Cincinnati, OH area to sit remotely. This person will join the Information Security team and help alleviate a large backlog of active security contracts.
The team currently has between 30 and 40 active reviews, and the end goal is to reduce this number to less than ten at a time to make things more manageable.
These contracts can be with any third-party vendor such as a cloud vendor, technical vendor, various federal entities, etc.
They will also be responsible for small risk assessments of security projects which will help limit the level of risk involved and safeguard the clients' data.
They must be able to recommend security controls to help mitigate risk. It is very important that this person has extensive experience working within Information Security and Risk Management.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5+ years experience working within risk related to information security and technology
Experience doing contract and security reviews for third party vendors
Extensive experience doing security risk assessments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Professional experience as an IT Auditor
Experience working in higher education
