We are seeking to hire a Training Specialist to join our Production Team

JOB SUMMARY

The Training Specialist reports to the Director of Production. The essential job functions are to implement and maintain curricula, courses, and programs to support training for the production department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Dept Veeva training administrator.
  • Collaborates with production management to develop department training programs and curriculum.
  • Assigns autonomous training
  • Creates, schedules, and facilitates classroom training requirements
  • Training curriculum for new documents
  • Collaborates with production management on an on-going basis to prioritize training needs and to verify the effectiveness of training.
  • Works with production management to make decisions about training including audience needs, delivery, methodology.
  • Prepare, submit and review Standard Operating Procedure and training module revisions, as necessary.
  • Creates quizzes
  • Creates new training requirements
  • Develops, compiles, assesses, and reports relevant training metrics.
  • Ensures that all training documentation is accurate, complete, and available for review by management or regulatory agencies.
  • Lead the creation of "next level" training opportunities like train-the-trainer, offsite and onsite vendor training, site to site collaborations, expert SOP reviews, etc.
  • Create and maintain a system to get learning from near misses, investigations, and CAPA's into recuring training in a meaningful way.
  • Actively participate in the assessment of training related CAPA items and ensures that appropriate training is developed and delivered as necessary.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of training methods, procedures and regulations necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
  • Participates, as necessary, in internal or external audits / inspections.
  • Assists in training other departments related to new / updated procedures.
  • Makes decisions both independently and collaboratively with department management
  • Attends work on a regular and predictable basis.
  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness.
  • Upholds Company policies, including the Professional Conduct Policy and Prohibition Against Harassment Policy, and the Business Ethics and Conduct Code.
  • Works in a cooperative manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers and the public.
  • Works effectively under deadlines.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field with 2+ years of experience or High School diploma or equivalency with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with LMS systems.
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and translating content and performance requirements into sound instructional content.
  • Experience delivering effective classroom training.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including in Excel for tracking metrics
