LHH wants to support you in your current job search! Our fantastic client in the non-profit space is seeking a Senior Grants Analyst to join their team on an open-ended contract basis.
This team is currently working on a hybrid basis in Manhattan, NY and there could be permanent potential for this role.
Responsibilities :
Review contracts and ensure compliance prior to generating billing invoices to funding source (city, state and federal)
Tracking expenses to ensure compliance and prevent overspending
Prepare all disbursements in a timely manner ensuring compliance with funding source regulations
Post month end journal entries and reconcile bank statements
Allocating expenditures while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local grant contracts
Assist the team with forecasting and budgeting
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required
4+ years of relevant non-profit experience
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
Skills :
Ability to work independently and remain detail-oriented
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to be a strong team player
Strong time management skills
Compensation : $38 - 52 / hr, depending on experience.
