The Phone surveyor / Interviewer role, within the client is responsible for collecting information using set questions about health practices and behaviors of state residents.

Lawmakers and policy makers are some of the many people that use this information to shape different health programs for supporting Kansans.

In this position you provide the important link between the lives and habits of your friends and neighbors and the decisions that are made about those programs.

This position is one that would require the interviewer to work at a computer station for the entirety of their shift. There, they would be calling out to the resident’s telephone numbers within the Client and speaking with them for their answers to questions about their personal health per the indicated questions with the survey.

The interviewer would be reading verbatim from the on-screen script to gather quality data, and then key in responses using 10-key (1 for yes, 2 for no, etc.).

In an effort to keep the residents'''''''''''''''' answers as true as possible, BRFSS has stated that the interviewer should remain neutral in any responses to the residents, so as not to sway their answers.

The interviewers are to be calm and neutral demeanor, self-motivated, maintain good attendance, and offer understanding and flexibility.

Availability for Promotion to Lead Interviewer and Supervisor based upon performance and attendance.

Must work on site.

Additional Schedule requirements & details :

We have limited daytime stations available and several evening and weekends stations available.

We are asking for a minimum of 15 hours, and at least one weekend shift,

Shifts available are :

Monday through Thursday 5 : 00-9 : 00, Saturday 12 : 00-5 : 30 and Sunday 12 : 30-800

Must attend mandatory monthly meetings (usually held the first Thursday of every month at 2 : 00pm and 5 : 30 pm)
