Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM, after hours as needed Schedule : 5x8-hour shifts Location : Must live 100 miles from the facility Experience & Requirements Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience – required Operating Room and PACU experience – required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – required Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in English – required Certifications & Licensure Active RN license in the State of Texas – required NIHSS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS – required Additional Details Provides direct patient care for pediatric through geriatric populations in the surgical setting. Collaborates continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists regarding patient status. Ensures surgical equipment and supplies are ready and functional for all cases. Positions and monitors patients throughout procedures. Reports to the Surgical Services Director .
