Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Develop and guide legal strategies in support of company goals.
- Responsible for day-to-day securities law matters, including SEC reporting and Canadian securities law matters with the assistance of regional resources.
- Collaborate with corporate secretarial team on board and annual meeting preparations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing public disclosures and corporate communications, including earnings releases and press releases.
- Provide legal advice and support on equity plans, executive compensation and related matters.
- Support M&A and other strategic transactions.
Qualifications :
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Current bar admission in good standing (Colorado or Texas preferred).
- 4+ years of securities and corporate law experience.
- Energy industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel internationally, primarily to Canada.
